Monday Morning Design Wall 10/1/2012

Good Morning!  I vowed last week to start finishing up some of my UFO's, no more starting new projects when I have so many in progress.  Well, I kept that vow until I went to Quilting in the Garden last weekend and purchased the Miss Emilie's Garden pattern from In Between Stitches in Livermore California.  I was in love!!  Pulled fabric and already put together the first four blocks.  Oh well, so much for my vow!  I did finish up Block 9 of Mimi's Bloomers so at least I got that done!!!    I am keepig my promise by working on my UFO's, at least one, each night!!  I hope to have some finished up in the next couple of weeks.   Don't for get to check out Judy's Blog to see the rest of the design walls!  Happy Quilting everyone!

  1. Cheeeze, Jennifer/overachiever! I know it's hard to resist when you see something wonderful in a quilt shop or show. The only way I can is to NOT GO to them! I'm on the east coast (should have brought a photo of my design wall to be early in the posting but didn't think of it--drat!) enjoying the rain and cool weather-YAY! Won't see a quilt shop for another week but brought a wool project with me to work on. I'll try to remember to post a photo of that next Monday!

    1. We are still baking in 90+ temperatures here so enjoy your nice cool weather. Diane, I blame you for this addiction...I think I might need an intervention soon!! I am going to Pacific International in Santa Clara in October, are you going to be back? I will be going on Friday and then driving to San Luis Obispo for Parent's Weekend at Cal Poly. Can't wait to see what you bring back from the east coast this time!!

  3. isn't it our role to change our minds and create new UFO's or what would we have to post about in January. Love your idea of once a week of working on something in progress..won't do it but think it's a great plan---Julianne
