Another productive week, I finished up
Mimi's Bloomers Block 8 this weekend and below are all the blocks together! I think this is coming together very nicely! It will be a great quilt. I did redo my Miss Kyra borders (for the third time) and I am much happier with the overall look. See the picture below. I am planning on adding some applique flowers to the blank areas, just like the center of the quilt. It was worth the work to do the borders again!! I love the look of this quilt and the extra bit of applique will be quick and will add just the right touch!!! Check out the rest of the design walls on

Beautiful work! Love how you redid the borders :) It's funny how it looks more centered even though it's not just because of the flower placement. Makes it more pleasing to the minds eye I guess, anyway I love it! There's a dresden on the back burner over here, all in teals, plates done, just haven't put em on a background! I adore your Mini Bloomers blocks. Just Gorgeous!!!

You were right--redoing your quilt for the 3rd time WAS the charm! (and now it's symmetrical!) Spring Chicks meets a week from tomorrow. Have you done your Row Quilt or the challenge "Three"?
ReplyDeleteWorking on Judy's strip....very time consuming. I should have it done by end of week (I only have to sew the applique down) and then I will start on three. I have ideas so it should be quick!
