Monday Morning Design Wall 7/4/2011

Have a wonderful Fourth of July today!! Happy Birthday to the US!! I had a very productive week working on my quilt projects as the majority of my family was out of town. They have returned very sunburned and eaten alive by bugs but had a wonderful time on the Outland Adventure Camp at Seabase in the Florida Keys. I was also able to ship off the youngest to spend the rest of the summer at Boy Scout Camp working as a counselor, great life for a boy. No electronics, television or video games, just work and play in the great outdoors. I am working on another applique block and got hooked on a paper piece project passed on to me by a friend. I am having a ball making my Quilt Fairy Godmothers!!

  1. Aren't the quilt fairy godmothers a hoot! I saved my pattern but don't know when I'll get to it -- if ever. I love Paper Panache even if I don't make a whole lot of her mysteries. http://www.paperpanache.com/ if anyone else is interested.

  5. Those fairy quiltmothers are hilarious! I saved one too but am considerably inexperienced at paper piecing so it will be a challenge. Hope you get lots more time to sew with some family members off other places :)
