Monday Morning Design Wall 4/23/2012

What a nice quiet weekend! My son Nicolas and his German exchange student spent the entire day at Picnic Day at UC Davis and my husband and younger son headed off on a Boy Scout camping trip. The house was mine all day! I worked on framing the finished blocks for My Whimsical Quilt Garden and I spent some serious time working on my Hawaiian Quilt With a Twist.  I was even able to get some cleaning done, not too much as that would have taken me away from my sewing time.
I only have one more block to finish up for My Whimsical Quilt Garden and am already working on putting the blocks together.  I also began looking at finishing up past projects I as had some time to dig a few of them out during my quiet Sunday morning after church.  Again, I am faced with the dilemma of too many projects but not enough time.   Our exchange student heads back to Germany on Thursday and then I really need to arrange a visit with my daughter at college, begin checking out colleges for my son, who will be applying next fall, finish cleaning up my sewing area and finish the multiple projects I have started but not finished over the past year.  I am so hooked on Applique now, I seem not to do anything else!!  Remember to check out other design walls on Judy's blog!

  6. Great, as usual, Jennifer! I haven't posted in 2 weeks as I haven't had time to get into my sewing room but just today I spent time working on the Spring Chicks projects--you haven't forgotten about those, have you? They're due in 3 weeks!
