Monday Morning Design Wall 3/2/2015 Wild and Goosey Weekend



Good Morning!  I have had a blast all weekend making my Wild and Goosey Blocks from Bonnie Hunter.  I love using up my scraps and they have turned out so well.  I am not normally a paper piecing person but this was the perfect week/weekend and I finished my first 100.  I might make 40 more but I think that will be enough!!

    Whew! Lots of wild and Goosey blocks. I am working on those too. My goal is a baby quilt for my new great grandchild to come. I have 6 months so I'm good.

    Now that is a spectacularly big design wall and what goodies on it! Those goosey blocks are great - as are your applique blocks. Thanks for sharing!

      Plan on working on a setting solution for the applique blocks later this week. I need to finish the last two blocks and then I will be ready to work on it!

    I love these little blocks also,I am not even sure how many I have done, but I just keep on making them! It will definately be a quit that I keep! Yours are looking fantastic!

    I love those blocks and the blocks at the top of your design wall are just gorgeous too. Did you make all 100 in one weekend? I'm impressed either way.

      I made 100 in a week, finishing up over the weekend and sewing them together! I think I drove my husband nuts sewing the blocks every night! He was a trooper though.

    Your wild and goosey blocks look great! It makes me want to try some. Nice way to use up your scraps and still have turn out a beautiful quilt.
