Week of my dreams! Left home early Thursday morning and have been enjoying a wonderful sewing weekend at the Quilt Fever Quilt Retreat in Morro Bay all weekend. Here are just a couple of my projects that I started and will be working on for the next few weeks. I did fusable applique for the Chico State Wolverine symbol and was able to even get it sewn down.
I started a bali pop quilt using applique and mirror image leaves and will be sewing this together and finishing up borders this next week.
I was also able to begin Florabunda by Erin Russek and I am starting with the large center block. I have been wanting to start this one for quite a while and this seemed like the time and place!! So many projects....so little time.
Your blocks are beautiful. I am so envious of all those who can applique and enjoy it. I think your work looks fab!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Aren't you glad you took a bunch of projects with you? I'm off to Reno for 2 days and will be sewing in my hotel room while my poor hubby is at a dreary 2-whole-day meeting!
ReplyDeleteAll great projects. I LOVE the batik leaves.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of quilt fun happened in Morro Bay! Someday I'd like to do a retreat.
